Multimodal freight transportation
Our multimodal freight service combines air and road transportation, providing a fast and cost-efficient solution for shipments that require short transit times, controlled costs, and greater flexibility. This option is particularly effective when fast delivery is required to cities or countries where direct transportation by a single mode is not possible, or when finding the right balance between speed and cost is essential.
To arrange transportation, you need to contact our manager and agree on the transportation scheme and terms in advance. You can deliver your cargo to one of our warehouses or arrange pickup from the address, pay for the service, and then receive the cargo from one of our warehouses or request door-to-door delivery.
The entire logistics chain is organized through clearly defined stages: cargo acceptance at our warehouse or pickup from the customer's address, packaging when required, document preparation, air transportation, road transportation, and final delivery to the recipient. Throughout the process, we ensure a well-coordinated and controlled logistics operation.
The cost of multimodal transportation depends on the destination, type of cargo, volume, weight, and combination of transportation modes used. Additional services such as packaging, insurance, warehousing, document preparation and documentation support, loading and handling services, pickup from the customer's address, and door-to-door delivery may affect the final cost. Additional charges may also arise during transportation, including airport fees, border and customs charges, and potential additional costs in transit countries.
At Transport LLC, all transportation is carried out in accordance with applicable international and local regulations. Cargo will not be accepted for transportation if it does not comply with safety requirements, is subject to international restrictions, or fails to meet the carrier's requirements. In particular, the following items are not permitted: explosives and flammable materials, toxic and hazardous chemicals, radioactive materials, narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, weapons and ammunition, human organs and human remains, as well as animals.
Appropriate packaging is essential for the safe transportation of cargo and the smooth operation of the entire logistics chain. When necessary, we provide additional protective packaging, including wooden crating, particularly for fragile shipments. Please note that such packaging may affect the cargo volume and final transportation cost.
