Cargo packaging is an important stage of the logistics process that helps protect shipments during transportation. Properly selected and applied packaging reduces the risk of cargo damage and loss.
The "Transport" takes full responsibility for the safe handling of cargo. However, transportation safety also depends significantly on the condition in which the customer hands over the cargo for transportation. Therefore, it is important that the cargo has proper primary packaging both when it is accepted at our warehouse and when it is collected from the sender’s address.
The type of packaging is selected based on the characteristics of the cargo. Protective films, boxes, pallets, and other securing materials may be used.
Cargo packaging is particularly important for fragile, valuable, or long-distance shipments. It reduces the risk of damage, facilitates loading and unloading, and contributes to a smooth and uninterrupted logistics process.
Protective Transport Packaging (PTP)
Description
Protective Transport Packaging is one of the most widely used types of cargo protection. It provides reliable protection against unwanted external impacts during transportation.
The size and shape of the cargo do not limit its use. This type of packaging can be used for fragile chandeliers, large sofas, sports motorcycles, and other types of cargo.
Protective Transport Packaging is provided for the duration of transportation and is not transferred to the recipient.

When Protective Transport Packaging is used:
- the cost of road transportation increases by 35%;
- the cost of air transportation increases by 40%.
If the maximum dimension of a single cargo unit is between 2.4 m and 6 m, the packaging cost increases by 25%.
If the maximum dimension of a single cargo unit exceeds 6 m, the packaging cost increases by 50%.
Non-Removable Protective Transport Packaging
Description
Non-Removable Protective Transport Packaging is a durable and reliable type of packaging designed to ensure cargo safety during transportation and intended for long-term use.
Its main advantage is that it can be reused later for transporting other cargo or for other purposes.
Non-Removable Protective Transport Packaging is delivered to the recipient together with the cargo.

Description
Cargo requiring additional protection and consolidated transportation is packed in heavy-duty cardboard boxes. This type of packaging is mandatory for cargo weighing up to 3 kg.

Description
Palletizing is intended for cargo that is difficult to move manually and requires the use of a forklift or other lifting equipment.
The service is applied when the weight of a single cargo unit exceeds 50 kg.

Transport Base
Description
A transport base is a convenient solution for cargo that does not require rigid packaging but, due to its weight and/or dimensions, requires a sturdy supporting base for safe transportation.
A suitable transport base is prepared for each shipment based on its specific characteristics. It provides reliable securing and protection throughout all stages of transportation.
At the customer’s request, the cargo may be delivered together with the transport base.

Polypropylene Bag
Description
A polypropylene bag is designed for packaging small, powdery, and soft cargo. Its strong and durable material provides reliable protection during transportation.
